Welcome
On behalf of the Harvard Black Law Students Association, we invite you to join us for our 27th annual Spring Conference. Spring Conference is one of our most anticipated events of the year. During Spring Conference, past, current, and future generations of Harvard Law School students gather with community leaders, prominent political figures, intellectual scholars, and distinguished guests from across the globe to explore relevant issues in the local, national, and international Black communities.
The 27th Annual Harvard BLSA Spring Conference promises to be especially thought-provoking and cutting-edge in ways not seen in previous years. We have been working diligently over the past year to incorporate innovative, creative, and exciting elements into this year’s conference that we hope you will enjoy.
Our panel topics this year are designed to address various issues, including: Community Health and Nutrition in Urban Settings, Exploring Alternatives to the Traditional Legal Career, Gun Violence, and Youth Violence in the Black Community. Additionally, we will partner with HBLSA’s Learning and Mentorship Program to host our fifth Youth Summit, a special panel designed to address the particular needs and concerns of high school students from the nearby Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference in March on the Harvard Law School campus.
Sincerely,
Dominique Winters
