The annual Spring Conference serves as an opportunity for BLSA to bring notable figures to HLS to discuss various issues of concern to the African-American community. The conference draws many BLSA alumni back to Harvard to contribute to the event and to celebrate BLSA’s progress. The conference consists of discussion panels, a career fair, and an entertainment program including comedians, recording artists and spoken word artists. Past participants have included the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt, the Honorable Eric H. Holder, Jr., Michael Eric Dyson, Willie Gary, Donna Brazile, Nikki Giovanni, and Thurgood Marshall, Jr.
