The Membership Committee is dedicated to recording, preserving, and supporting HBLSA’s membership base. The annual handbook published by the Membership Committee reaffirms the principles on which HBLSA was founded and presents new members with a pledge to become a part of the organization. The Membership Committee works with the President and her officers to execute the programming for the year. Birthday cakes at General Body Meetings are arranged by the Membership Committee to celebrate our members’ more personal milestones. The Membership Committee also organizes the HBLSA Awards Ceremony at the end of the year. Working under the umbrella of the Internal Vice President’s Programming Zone, the Membership Committee focuses on commemorating BLSA’s most important asset—its members.
